a Disney brand that started in America in the early 2000s starting Duffy The Bear
He started in the American Disneyland but didn't get popular there at first
he and his friends however got more popular is the other Disneyland parks in Asia
He was a bear you could take to the parks and be your friend to hang out with and play who was also Mickey's bear who came to life
Duffy had many other friends too

Now onto Linabell
She's a mischievous and smart fox who loves mysteries and solving them and loves nature as well
She started in Shanghai Disneyland in 2021 and became very popular especially in China and other Asian places
I first learnt about Linabell through my step mum Rose who had a friend with a collection of Duffy and Friends related things
I knew bits and pieces about the characters but didn't get down the rabbit hole until recently when I saw them at this store in Melbourne called Unicorn Cosmetics which you all might have seen in my last blog from when I went to the cat cafe in Melbourne to heal from personal stuff
This is the plush I first saw at the Unicorn Cosmetics shop and I liked how fluffy she felt and her big cuddly tail like an actual fox or like cuddling Senko San
I was aiming to get the smaller Linabell plush that you see above however by the time I wanted to get it on the fortnight I was gonna get paid it was sold out
My mum decided because she didn't want me going online or going to zenmarket especially so she went to one of the stores and found a bigger Linabell plush while a bit more expensive and it meant paying mum back as my own personal afterpay lmao
she was happy to buy it for me since it was exactly what I needed during something I'm healing from at the moment with something big and fluffy for cuddles and sensory needs
Mum got Linabell in the car and she looked a bit nervous
but when I saw her I was surprised how huge she was and very cuddly
She was exactly what I needed while healing and recovering from personal stuff
Heres a comparsion size of her and my Rilakkuma plush which was a plush I got at Animaga a few years ago Rilkakkuma helped me during a bad ibs flare up I had and when I needed a cry lol
I even took her out to the movies recently with my partner seeing the live action Lilo and Stitch (the movie sucked but to be honest it was better then being sad at home)
Even though Linabell had her own issues with Stitch the character

She enjoyed the movie a bit even if I didn't like it
See friends can have simple disagreements and still be for basic human rights and she even doesn't mind me being trans X3
I will say I do love the mascot design of Linabell and the interactions she has with the audience and other characters
her design very simple yet really adorable
She wears a lot of cute adorable outfits too for different themes and stuff

Overall Linabell has now been a big comfort in life that I need right now and I am forever grateful to Mum for buying her for me and I can't to hopefully bring her out on more adventures or even just comfortable cuddles and chilling shes a fun and mivcheious and caring friend that I needed the most besides Fluttershy and Teddie
Linabell and I should start a podcast talking about cute things and maybe true crime and mystery things XD hahaha
