Plushies In My Room- Linabell The Fox (Duffy and Friends)

 

Today we will be talking about one of my new and probs biggest plushies in my room Linabell The Fox from Duffy and Friends 
a Disney brand that started in America in the early 2000s starting Duffy The Bear 

He started in the American Disneyland but didn't get popular there at first 
he and his friends however got more popular is the other Disneyland parks in Asia

He was a bear you could take to the parks and be your friend to hang out with and play who was also Mickey's bear who came to life 
Duffy had many other friends too

Now onto Linabell

She's a mischievous and smart fox who loves mysteries and solving them and loves nature as well 
She started in Shanghai Disneyland in 2021 and became very popular especially in China and other Asian places 

I first learnt about Linabell through my step mum Rose who had a friend with a collection of Duffy and Friends related things 
I knew bits and pieces about the characters but didn't get down the rabbit hole until recently when I saw them at this store in Melbourne called Unicorn Cosmetics which you all might have seen in my last blog from when I went to the cat cafe in Melbourne to heal from personal stuff 

This is the plush I first saw at the Unicorn Cosmetics shop and I liked how fluffy she felt and her big cuddly tail like an actual fox or like cuddling Senko San

I was aiming to get the smaller Linabell plush that you see above however by the time I wanted to get it on the fortnight I was gonna get paid it was sold out
My mum decided because she didn't want me going online or going to zenmarket especially so she went to one of the stores and found a bigger Linabell plush while a bit more expensive and it meant paying mum back as my own personal afterpay lmao 
she was happy to buy it for me since it was exactly what I needed during something I'm healing from at the moment with something big and fluffy for cuddles and sensory needs 

Mum got Linabell in the car and she looked a bit nervous
but when I saw her I was surprised how huge she was and very cuddly 

she spent her first day at home watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt with me and my partner Mitchell and was slowly making herself at home 

She was exactly what I needed while healing and recovering from personal stuff

Heres a comparsion size of her and my Rilakkuma plush which was a plush I got at Animaga a few years ago Rilkakkuma helped me during a bad ibs flare up I had and when I needed a cry lol 

I even took her out to the movies recently with my partner seeing the live action Lilo and Stitch (the movie sucked but to be honest it was better then being sad at home) 

    Even though Linabell had her own issues with Stitch the character

She enjoyed the movie a bit even if I didn't like it 
See friends can have simple disagreements and still be for basic human rights and she even doesn't mind me being trans X3

I will say I do love the mascot design of Linabell and the interactions she has with the audience and other characters 
her design very simple yet really adorable 

Stellalou is my second fave to be honest and hope to get a plush of her soon (a smaller one don't worry lol)

She wears a lot of cute adorable outfits too for different themes and stuff

Overall Linabell has now been a big comfort in life that I need right now and I am forever grateful to Mum for buying her for me and I can't to hopefully bring her out on more adventures or even just comfortable cuddles and chilling shes a fun and mivcheious and caring friend that I needed the most besides Fluttershy and Teddie 

Linabell and I should start a podcast talking  about cute things and maybe true crime and mystery things XD hahaha

A Hard Boss to Defeat My Bad Self Loathing Habit

Still alive
still trying to heal I guess its been hard I will admit but I'm getting there 
although a recent psychologist appointment as painful and shitty as I felt to the point of crying really made me realise how bad my self loathing really is calling myself selfish, foolish and spoiled and how I have to be so mean to myself and so cruel the same way dad was when I was a kid or when teachers in primary school or high school were or ex friends were to me so I can improve and change its not working clearly and obviously being yelled at especially at myself isn't causing me to improve at all if anything it just makes me scared or put unesscary pressure on myself just cause others were cruel to me and emotionally abusive doesn't mean I have to myself I can't keep doing that 
but it will be hard to change that I will admit but I have been trying a little bit such as not calling myself stupid when messing up in Split Fiction with a friend (fun game btw)

or trying hard not to call myself selfish, foolish, spoiled, stupid, shitty, dumb or other mean and harsh words 

My mum showed me this article by Paul Korebitz and it really helped me understand why beating myself up is not very effective and how all it does is cause damnage to myself and my mental health

As hurt as I still am I got to keep going and I got to keep fighting and if the world chooses to become my enemy just for standing for trans rights so be it I guess 
just wish things would just stop hurting... 

anyway I am doing whatever I can to distract myself 
visiting my friend on the weekend was great and we got to play Split Fiction

 which I had a lot of fun with I played it before with other friends at my place but I had more trouble with it and even moments of rage quitting, meanwhile with my friend at their place I had a more fun time with and we had better teamwork skills found the game to be really enjoyable and really creative especially on the multiplayer aspect of things, Zoe and Mio are both great characters too and how their friendship developed was written good 
so that was a well needed fun gaming time with a good friend 
makes me wanna try it takes two and a way out when I get the chance 

Today I also managed to over 6000 steps of walking with my support worker out at Edgars Creek which as a nice lovely walk out in nature 
as much as I love the city in Melbourne its nice to have a break out in the nature side of things as well

so yeah I'm trying to recover 
and hope to love myself and care for myself more 
I use to be scared of wanting to do that more cause I was scared it would make me an egocentric asshole who doesn't care for others and only myself 
but there is ways to acknowledge my mistakes that doesn't involve me screaming and yelling at myself or saying awful things at myself 
just cause others yelled at me and were cruel to me in the past 
doesn't mean I have to be at myself 

its not gonna be easy and maybe I'll relapse but as long as I try thats all that matters 
all I can do is try and trying is all that matters

Hello Kitty Cafe Melbourne 2025

 

Today on May 14th 2025 I went to the Hello Kitty Cafe at Melbourne Central with my support worker I was pretty excited about this for months 
its hard to believe how much Hello Kitty and her friends have blown up since 2020 and the lockdowns 
and I guess people and places are doing whatever they can to take advantage of how popular its gotten 
I've always loved Hello Kitty for a long time as well as her friends Kuromi and My Melody and Cinnamonroll over the years but just like since the lockdowns I too got caught up in the kawaii sweetness that is Sanrio

especially with the video game Hello Kitty Island Adventure 

anyway heres the pics I took and my thoughts on the cafe itself 

I tried using the expert raw camera app on my Galaxy Z Fold 6 to see if it takes more professional photos but to be honest I didn't like how the lighting did some of them and I still need time to get use to it anyway lets begin 

First impressions especially from the outside of it
it looks really cozy and great that its the central and heart of Melbourne with Hello Kitty literally staring into your soul lmao 

I first browsed the little shop they had which had exclusive hello kitty clothes and prints and other little merchandise lowkey really want that Melbourne Tram Hello Kitty sweaty especially 

I really wanna try these strawberry sandos one day they look pretty tasty

and this was the sweater I was talking about I really want it hahahah 

I went into the Cinnamonroll section to have my food to sit down and I love how cozy it looks with my fave precious boi in the city of Melbourne 
those prints are adorable as well!! 

and heres me next to the precious boi Cinnamonroll in the heart of Melbourne with my Madoka Bear plush 

I tried the egg sando croissant with the Keroppi Kreme Matcha both were pretty tasty
and my support worker had the tofu bento which had this cute Hello Kitty themed rice  

Its good that the cafe let us order via a QR code which makes things a lot easier and less stressful 
the time I went while there was a lot of people it just felt like a day at any popular current cafe to be honest 
my suggestion is go at more quieter times or with less people if your unsure about crowds and lines 
I overall had a great time at the cafe and thought it was  super cute and filled with lots of joy good for Sanrio fans young and old 

for the rest of the day I browsed Melbourne Central for a bit and even got a present at incube8r for one of my friends for his birthday this weekend who I will visit for the weekend at his place which will be a lot of fun 
got to even browse some other shops and a bit of the asian supermarket as well
I was lucky I remembered not to forget the present I bought cause my dumbass almost left it in the disabled toilets 
oops but good thing I got just before I was about to get on the train
that would of been bad if I forgot it but I am glad I didn't

It was a really fun day and I am 100% going back to the Hello Kitty Cafe again hopefully with my partner or maybe my friends who knows 
we shall see
