Been ages since I had a really fun night out
Went out with my partner tonight and we watched How To Train Your Dragon live action the film was just a shot per shot of the animated film though and honsently wasn't the highlight of the night even if the film was still a decent watch
what was the highlights though was on the way home which orginally was just to find a 7/11 for sandwiches the next few days for lunch
but what I found on the way was amazing
seeing Westgarth to Northcote at night in the city life was a lovely sight to behold
and even saw some live music on the way that was free and my partner even randomly got free pizza from someone on the streets
but the biggest highlight for me was finally going to the punk bar/cafe I've been wanting to go too for ages but never bothered until now
Cafe Gummo a punk bar with amazing music and very inclusive and lgbt friendly
Something about punk related things I was always drawn by since my obsessives days with Green Day as a young teenager and the rebellious ways of things and standing up for what's right I guess I was always a punk at heart even if I'm not seen as a "proper" one who fucking cares just let people have fun and let them learn subcultures and I feel this place is what will help me a lot be around locals with similar values as me
heres some pics I took at the place as well and you can see just from the art and style alone why I already call Cafe Gummo my new home
Apologies for the side way pics as for some reason i can't upload pics via my pc but if you enjoy them I suggest checking my instagram
